仙女潭位于灵山县太平镇南边约4公里处

仙女潭游记

    仙女潭位于灵山县太平镇南边约4公里处，在九冬村委境内，是灵山八大景之一。仙女潭有这样一个美丽的传说：古时候在仙女岩洞里曾住着仙女，洞里有石妆台，是一位巧匠凿成的。岩顶有一条石梁横悬，月明风清之夜，时闻笙笛之声，优雅动听。自清雍正年以来，这里人居稠密，鸡犬喧嚣，仙女们不愿再过这样的凡间生活，便回天上去了。因此，石梁自断，妆台自倾。故有“仙女岩”之名。又传说曰：仙女岩景色奇丽，花香水秀，七月初七，众仙女外出游乐，路过此地，被深深吸引而下凡嬉戏取乐，时久忘返，直至天断其桥，遂化为戴耳环的大红鲤鱼，居于潭中，每年七月初七现回人形，翩翩起舞，曾被路过此地的路人所见而广为传诵，并立“遇仙记”碑一块作记。此后为了纪念仙女便把这个大水潭称为“仙女潭”，潭上的山坳称为“仙女坳”。人们并且还在山坳上建了一个凉亭，取名“仙女亭”。
    仙女潭水清澈碧绿，浅处可见水中的沙石，瀑布下的潭水据说深达10多米，一些游人正在潭中欢乐嬉水。潭水三面均是悬崖峭壁，瀑布从50多米的高处沿石壁飞泻而下，白色乳汁般的山泉撞击在岩石上，激起层层水烟迷雾。阳光从峭壁上空射入潭底，波光潋滟洞天一色。
    沿高高的石阶信步登上潭上的仙女坳和仙女亭。据说解放前每逢七月初七都有人祭拜仙女亭，让仙女到此地游览和洗澡。在仙女亭旁大树荫下的石凳少憩，遥望仙女潭上东、西两面山头，只见牛郎石和织女石深情对望，仿佛在深情诠释古老的爱情传说。

记得最近一次去仙女潭玩的好像是92年的了，那时我们一伙是在旧州那边骑单车去的，不过单车只是放在山脚下，没有推上去哦.....一别十多年了，回头看起这些片片，童年的开心历程还是那么的历历在目，山、水、草、木还是那么的美....乡亲们还是那样的勤劳着....
